Mel Alexander 
Town Clerk (f/t)
As the Town Clerk, Mel is the Council’s Proper Officer, under provisions of s112 of the Local Government Act 1972, the Town Clerk is required to carry out the statutory duties of a Proper Officer, guiding and assisting the Town Council in fulfilling its legal and financial obligations.

The Town Clerk is responsible for the administrative work of Thatcham Town Council; providing support and guidance to Staff and Members of the Council.

Jennie Currie
Community & Civic Manager (f/t)Deputy Town ClerkSafeguarding Officer
As the Community & Civic Manager, Jennie is responsible for organising community and civic events; developing constructive relationships with local media, traders, community organisations and residents; and promoting the town and the Town Council.

As Deputy Town Clerk, in the absence of the Town Clerk, Jennie acts as the Proper Officer.

Naomi Mildenhall
Services Manager (f/t)Health & Safety Manager
As the Services Manager, Naomi clerks the Recreation and Amenities Committee, manages projects as agreed by that Committee and ensures that Town Council facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Naomi also acts as the Health and Safety Manager for the Town Council.

Responsible Financial Officer (p/t)

Under s151 of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to appoint a Responsible Financial Officer for the administration of its financial affairs.
 Miri Willan 
Finance Officer (p/t)
Miri is responsible for maintaining the Town Council’s computerised financial records, monthly payment runs and reconciliations.
  Rosie Jardine 
Senior Admin Officer (p/t)Cemetery and Public Relations
As Cemetery Officer Rosie is responsible for overseeing administration of burials and memorials at London Road Cemetery. Rosie also monitors the Town Council’s social media presence, produces the quarterly newsletter and other publicity material as required.As Senior Admin Officer Rosie is responsible for ensuring that tasks amongst the Administrative team are covered.

Linda Adams 
Admin Officer (p/t)

General Support

Linda provides administrative support to assist in the efficient running of the office and ensures agendas are distributed on time and provides support to the Planning & Highways Committee.  Linda also co-ordinates Council Surgery and incidents reported to the Town Council.
 Georgina Curtis-Read
 Admin Officer (p/t)Community & Civic
Georgina’s role is to support the Community & Civic Manager, in respect of Civic Functions and Community Events. Alongside this Georgina also manages the Mayors diary and coordinates the weekly Thatcham Market.
 Martha Collins 
Admin Officer (p/t)Halls and Allotments
Martha acts as receptionist and provides administrative support in respect of  the Town Council’s community assets; providing support as necessary to the Services Manager. Martha is the main contact for hall enquiries and bookings, and administration of Henleys Allotments.
Glyn Powell
Cemetery & Environmental Officer (f/t)
Glyn ensures the efficient and effective provision of burial services at London Road Cemetery and provides a proactive and high visibility patrolling presence in the community of Thatcham, providing environmental services.
